i’ve been experimenting with fragmentations since reading about jasper johns and john cage yesterday. i had this idea to do a photo made from 2 separate photos of the same scene only slightly different perspectives. i used different size photos and cut out small squares from each of the images separately and combined them together to make one complete image. i like the idea and so i’m working on it a little. this is one of those photos. i have them up on my blogsite if you care to see. if you find this idea intriguing, maybe you’d like to give it a try. i’d love to see what you come up with.

Cool works, Rhio!
Love your experiments, Rhio! This is a scene I would love to get lost in. Bravo!
Love your photo, Rhio. It creates an enchanted world, one almost recognizable but just out of reach. It reminds me of Bill Burroughs’ cutup technique – only his medium was words. I would really like to do a photo using your technique accompanied by text using the cutup. Maybe I will give it a try!
Wow!..I love these kind of projects with clever ideas..and especially when someone follows it through! would expect nothing less from you..wonderful!
a great concept Rhio : )
I’ve been doing something like this lately too, but not in the knocked out squares as you have done. I like it!
Oh! I simply adore this! This has such a dreamlike quality! I believe I will give it a try!
Uber-creative Rhio9.
Friggin’ fantabulous fragmentation photo. Rhio9 puts together a 10.
