Ein Gedi
by Peter Voigt
Meet Ein Gedi, a town situated at the coast of the Dead Sea. Both locals and tourists travel to this area in order to float around in the extremely salty water, sometimes covered in mineral-rich black mud dug out from the shore, and to enjoy the nice weather which is usually warm and sunny due to the fact that the area is the Earth’s lowest elevation on land (1388 ft or 423 meters below sea level).
