Qualicum Beach (population: 8,502) is a charming, friendly and laidback
community on the south-central coast of eastern Vancouver Island.  The local
population includes more than its share of unique artisans, gardeners and
active, healthy locals and retirees. Like most I was drawn here by Qualicum
Beach’s quaint village atmosphere, mild climate, fabulous beach and
shoreline, scenic beauty and wealth of outdoor activities.
